Too much information!

You know you have way too many logins, passwords, and email accounts when you can't remember how to access some of them from week to week. Thank goodness blogger.com has a good username/password recovery system. I need to find an encrypted password vault application. I'm sure someone out there has made one. Usually by the time I think of an idea like that it's already out on the market. Anyway, I'm still waiting for the Budget Homepage URL to get out on the name servers. Not much to see right now because I'm still tweaking some of the pages. I'm going to add a page for selling items on the web. I'll Probably have to open a paypal account to make the transactions secure. I had a bad experience on ebay a few years back, so I will never do business with them again. I know they are hugely popular, but buyer beware, there are rip-off artists lurking behind some of those great deals.

What is Budget Homepage?

It's always a challenge to come up with a good name for a business. The experts will tell you to name your company so that potential customers can easily determine the nature of your enterprise. After lengthly consideration, I chose Budget Homepage. To me the word budget means controlling costs and planning resources. It was tempting to use the word design in the name, but there are so many web development companies that focus on design already. You can always find someone who will do the work for less, but they may not have the training and experience you need. Once a web site is up and running, you need to make sure someone is managing it properly. This is the area that I think often gets overlooked. With all of the competition for web traffic today, you need to have someone working to promote your site. So, with those ideas in mind, this week I registered www.budgethomepage.com :)

Summer Blogging

Hello everyone,

This seems like a good place to post my thoughts. I usually have a lot of things spinning around in my head. Sometime I need to write my ideas down to see if they are any good. As I get older, I find that I forget things if I don't write them down. You may not agree with all my views but that doesn't mean we can't agree to disagree.
