I hate winter!

Well, it's really the cold weather that makes me cringe. Today the high temp is only going to be 7 degrees F. Plus, every time the heater turns on, I know it's adding to the already outrageous gas bill. There isn't much we can do about it up here in Northern Wisconsin. The gas company sent a flyer for a brochure on how to save energy this winter. Just lower my bill. Don't try to make us think that it is our fault that our heating bill is so high! Same goes for the oil companies who raise prices a week before a holiday, when they know we will be traveling more. Next week is Christmas. I hope you have all of your holiday shopping done. It takes me a while to get into the spirit, but I usually feel better once I have all of my shopping done. Next month I can get depressed again when I try to balance my checkbook.
