Budget goals for 2008

I added a web cam to poetlady.com this week. I wanted to have it update every hour, but at night it only showed blackness, so it updates once every 24 hours. The software I am using for this is an open source program called Dorgem. There are a few minor bugs, but it seems to work okay.

With the new year coming up next week, it's time to think about goals for the coming year. First, I need to complete the Midwest Machine Shop web site. Second, I need to finish editing my girlfriend's novel and submit it to a publisher. And third, I need to generate more income. Well, that last one is my goal every year. It is going to be difficult with inflation and lower interest rates on CD's. Investments make up about twenty percent of my income, so even a small drop in the interest rate hurts me. It would be nice to get a few more web site clients too. Good paying jobs are very hard to come by in this area, so every little bit of income helps.
