Anniversary Weekend

This past weekend it was my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The family went to the cabin and spent most of Saturday navigating the Highfalls flowage on a pontoon boat. This is a picture of the launching area at Popp's Resort in Crivitz, WI. It was a nice summer escape.

I have listed more beer cans on Ebay, but I need to get a few more big bidders to make it worth while. I wanted to place an ad on craig's list asking for old beer cans in good condition, but I guess consignment deals are against their policy. Older American cans in mint condition are getting the most bid activity. Foreign cans don't seem to sell unless they are very unique. Too many people are trying to unload their can collections, so a lot of common US cans are being listed among the more desirable listings. I am also looking through my house for other items of value and have listed a few of those as well.

Ebay and web design work is keeping me busy during my layoff weeks this summer. I have another client, which resulted from an excellent recommendation provided by the owner of Saint Croix Valley Geothermal, the website I completed last week. We are just in the preliminary planning stages, so more information will be coming on that soon. I am also continuing to apply for engineering and tech jobs, when I see them, but as we all know that can be a slow process.
