Poetlady Site Update

This week I spent some time updating my girlfriend's website Poetlady.com. She has a lot of hobbies and interests, but the site was created mainly to get feedback on her writing projects. I needed to update the site to make it look a little more professional since I am using it as an example of my work. Personal web sites can break the rules a bit when it comes to web standards. But you still need to adhere to some of the more basic page layout and navigation guidelines. After seeing some popular web sites in the news lately, like myspace and youtube, it occurred to me that maybe I should spend some time working on an idea for a web site that would attract a larger audience. The challenge is to do that without including some form of adult material. Anyway, have a great 4th of July weekend.
