I posted my 1976 280Z on Ebay this week. The starting price was set at $1200, which is below what I had it listed for on Craig's List. So far, with about 34 hours left, there are no bids, but I have received a few email questions and the ad has been viewed over 1000 times with 24 watching the ad. The problem with wining a bid for a car on Ebay is the shipping. If they live out of state, they will have to arrange for shipping, which could add 4 or 5 hundred to the price of the transaction.
The home search continues. This is a rare opportunity to buy a home, with interest rates as low as they are. Eventually the housing market will stabilize and inflation will push home prices back up. Everything goes in cycles, you just have to be in the right place at the right time. I haven't listed my current home yet, but hope to take care of that next week.
