Budget Resolutions

Anyone that says they don't make new year's resolutions is wasting a good opportunity for self improvement. Even if you don't follow through on your resolution, it helps to think about what you could do (if you had the will power)to make life better for yourself and others. This coming year I want to finish editing the book that my girlfriend and I started writing over three years ago. Basically so I can get that off my plate and move on with other writing projects that are in development. For the web design business, I want to start using more databases in the websites that I maintain. The first is going to be a poetry and recipe database on poetlady.com. Once I complete the php programming for one database the others should be easy. I haven't done a lot of php work but it doesn't seem too much different than perl and I recently acquired the O'Reilly book Learning PHP and another for MySql. So I am hoping that I can accomplish a minimum of two great things in 2007.
